RAD Solutions: Financials
The EFACS Enterprise Nominal Ledger is seamlessly integrated with the Sales and Purchase Ledgers and also the Fixed Assets module for optimum business functionality. All stock transactions may, optionally, integrate directly with the Nominal Ledger. Designed for ease of use and powerful business management reporting, the Nominal Ledger module is a modern system, drawing on the flexibility inherent within the EFACS Enterprise ERP suite of software for manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors.
Ledgers
Automatic posting from Sales and Purchase Ledgers is provided, as well as several types of nominal journal entry. Facilities exist for real-time postings between stock movements and the Nominal Ledger, with the resolution of nominal account code achieved by look-up based on categories assigned to the part, warehouse and customer involved in the stock transaction.
The Sales Ledger module offers unparalleled ease of use with high levels of functionality. The Sales Ledger module is an integral part of the financial suite and also of the entire EFACS Enterprise business solution. A consistent view to all users is presented across the commercial, manufacturing and financial aspects of the system offering seamless, integrated information.
The Purchase Ledger system also offers seamless integration with the Purchase Order Processing module and the Nominal Ledger. The EFACS Enterprise Landed Cost facility represents the total cost of purchase, transportation, warehousing and distribution of a product, may it be a raw material, a semi-finished item or even a finished article.
Ledger transactional information is retained at Period or Year-end and not cleared, thereby providing excellent historical analysis and reporting. Management reporting information is automatically created in real-time to supplement detailed transaction information.
Multi-Company
The EFACS multi company model provides wide-ranging functionality to facilitate group-maintained and administered central debtor and creditor ledger functions. EFACS Enterprise Multi-company has two modes “Autonomous” and “Centralised”. Autonomous Multi-company allows each company to have its own software and reporting configurations. A real-time routine manages the consolidation of company data to the multi-level group structure. This method is applicable where member companies operate independently. Centralised Multi-company operation shares software, data and reporting configurations. Each company consequently has the same reporting, applications and so on. This method is applicable where a group requires.
Contract & Costing
The Job Costing system provides extensive reporting based on works order labour bookings compared with planned costs, actual material issues compared with planned material, and actual sub-contract costs incurred through the Purchase Order Processing module compared with planned sub-contract costs. Analysis is available by works order, work centre, operator and section.
The Contract Control module is designed for companies who typically offer a design-to order service, with delivery to fixed costs and agreed time scales.

Within an integrated financial management suite, the valuation and revaluation of fixed assets is a fundamental requirement for any organisation wishing to hold accurate information concerning plant and property.
Nominal Ledger Report Writer
The latest version of the Nominal Ledger Report Writer links Microsoft Excel to the database with Visual Basic software. This provides users of EFACS Enterprise with a seamless input directly into spreadsheets allowing: Simple selection of nominal accounts; groups and analysis codes; Easy definition of actual, budget and forecast values; Period values and year to date.
